Lenvatinib Chemical Structure

Lenvatinib Capsules is an oral anticancer medication classified as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Specifically, it is available in capsule form in two different strengths: 4mg and 10mg. Primarily, this medication is used for the treatment of various types of cancers, including thyroid cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, and renal cell carcinoma, among others. Lenvatinib works by inhibiting multiple receptors involved in tumor growth and angiogenesis. Consequently, it limits the blood supply to the tumor and, therefore, slows its growth.
